What's Happening Downtown?

The Lindsay Downtown BIA, in collaboration with Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault and A Dash of Denney are planning the ‘Autumn Harvest Walking Tour’ throughout October!

Leaha Denney, owner of A Dash of Denney will be creating and selling themed cookie kits throughout the month with all proceeds going towards Hospice Kawartha Lakes in memory of Dan Burns. If you're interested in purchasing a cookie kit please reach out to Leaha directly at dashofdenney@gmail.com. Leaha will also be coordinating activities, events, prizes and social media engagement throughout the month.

Along with the “Autumn Harvest Walking Tour”, we are hosting events and sidewalk sales each Saturday throughout the month of October.

Saturday, October 9 - Buskers & Entertainment

• Come and shop our vibrant downtown!
• Buy at the sidewalk sale and in-store during the day!
• Enjoy buskers and musicians performing sporadically between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• While you walk the “Autumn Harvest Walking Tour” (hosted by Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault and A Dash of Denney), take a picture with one of our downtown musicians and post it on social media with the hashtag #autumnharvestlindsaydowntown for a bonus entry in the giveaway!

Saturday, October 16 - Fall Fair (Family Games & Food Vendors)

• Visit the beautiful downtown!
• Shop at the sidewalk sale or in-store during the day!
• Enjoy family friendly games and food vendors scattered throughout Lindsay Downtown between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• While you walk the “Autumn Harvest Walking Tour” (hosted by Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault and A Dash of Denney), take a picture playing a game or enjoying a tasty treat and post it on social media with the hashtag #autumnharvestlindsaydowntown for a bonus entry in the giveaway!

Saturday, October 23 - Find the Scarecrows Day

• Come see our picturesque downtown!
• Enjoying shopping at the sidewalk sale and in-store during the day!
• While you walk the “Autumn Harvest Walking Tour” (hosted by Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault and A Dash of Denney), find the hidden scarecrows throughout downtown, take a picture and post it on social media with the hashtag #autumnharvestlindsaydowntown for a bonus entry in the giveaway!

Saturday, October 30 - Halloween Walkthrough

• Check out our spooky downtown.
• Shop the sidewalk sale or in-store during the day!
• Enjoy a family friendly Halloween walkthrough to see the decorated businesses downtown.
• This is the final day to place your vote for the best pumpkin carving! Be sure to take a picture of your favourite pumpkin and tag us in your post on social media!
